I cannot believe how woefully out of date this site has gotten. I guess it's a measure of my complete lack of willpower to update my website. Even the livejournal has fallen on hard times. It turns out that a completely uninteresting job can, in fact, drain your will to do anything creative. I haven't even written anything marginally good in Lintuition since March. Super disappointing. But I'm going to post a rant today, because rants are the gold-standard in Internets.
This was my first foray into CSS. Last year, sometime around April, I decided to get back into web design; something I had done years ago, 1997-1999 era. At that time, CSS was brand new and completely stank. Dreamweaver had just (*JUST*) released Version 1 and it did partial CSS. HTML4 was new. I thought maybe things had chanced since then.
